About the game
Type Help is a text-based mystery told through files on an old computer. The records belonged to an outside investigator and concern a supposedly unsolvable case at Galley House. You work through the available information to piece together what happened and why the investigator died. The developer names Her Story, Return of the Obra Dinn and other deduction games as inspirations. The original is free in your browser and uses keyboard and mouse. Its story contains gruesome events; a separate commercial reimagining is also available.
