About the game
OGame is a browser strategy game about building a space empire from an initial planetary colony. You produce resources, research technology and construct ships, then expand through additional colonies and expeditions. Other players can become trading partners, allies or opponents, making fleet protection and attack planning part of the game. Alliances allow players to coordinate their efforts. The focus is on managing an empire through its interface rather than piloting individual spacecraft. An account is required to enter a universe. It is free to start, with premium features purchased using Dark Matter.
