About the game
Grepolis combines city development with military competition in an ancient Greek setting. You start with a small polis, build its economy and research technologies that support expansion. Land armies and fleets let you defend your holdings or threaten other cities, while Greek gods provide powers and access to mythical creatures. Other players matter throughout: alliances coordinate operations and help protect an expanding empire. It is a long-running strategy world managed through a browser interface. An account is required, and the game offers free access with optional purchases.
